The new Nokia N900 smartphone has passionate fans, as you can see from the comments on our hands-on article from two-weeks ago when it was released. The N900 is a Linux-powered smartphone that's a descendant of Nokia's awkward "Internet tablets," but arrives in a thoroughly pocketable size and shape, with a great Web browser and an open-source community raring to program for it.
