Samsung new bugdet touch mobile

Samsung’s budget touchscreen segment has been increasing steadily and the latest to make the scene is the S3650 which looks like slightly lower ended version Although we don’t know how eco-friendly this handset is, the S3650 is a compact touchscreen handset in the same league as the Samsung Star series.

S3650 handset is quite slim at about 13mm in depth and weighs in at approximately 92 grams. Other features
include -
  • a 2.8-inch touchscreen with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution
  • a 2 megapixel camera
  • Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP
  • FM radio
  • and microSD card support for external memory
  • Social Networking widgets and apps
I have to say that the color of the handset is a little bit odd with a black front and a yellow rear panel. Seems a bit gaudy to be honest.

Although the handset is yet to be officially announced by the company, it’s been estimated at about V Є 200 EURO

Mobile Got Wet in Rain or dropped in swimming pool - Tips on how to handle it !

There are many ways a cell phone can get wet. Unfortunately,

we all know that when a cell phone gets wet it can have a lot of damage done to it.

If you are thinking, how can I fix my cell phone, it got wet, get it taken care of quickly.

During the summer months is usually when there are a lot of people who are asking, how can I fix my cell phone it got wet? This is because during the summer people are around water more.

If you wait too long to get your wet cell phone fixed the damage may be irrepairable. Water damage to cell phones can be very serious.

Contact with water of any kind can be detrimental to your cell phone. It can erode or short circuit your phone’s delicate electronic components and the insides of it.

You don’t ever want to put a cell phone in the microwave to try and dry it out. You also don’t want to use a hair dryer on it. It is a bad idea to add heat to the water damaged cell phone because it can easily cause further damage and corrosion.

The best thing you can do is to get your phone to a water damage specialist who will be able to take the phone apart. This will help them clean the delicate components and they can assess the damage quickly and accurately for you.

Here is what you need to do if your phone gets wet and you need cell phone repairs done to save it.

One: You don’t want to turn your cell phone on. This can cause your phone permanent damage because it will shorten out.

Two: It is important that you get the battery out of the phone immediately.

Three: Don’t use a blow dryer or anything else to try and dry it off because even if the outside looks dry, the inside circuit board could still be wet.

Four: Put your phone inside of a Ziploc baggie. Then get it to a cell phone repair specialist right away.

It is very important that you get your cell phone to a specialist so that you have a chance of saving your phone. You can try and fix it yourself but this is not always a good idea if you are not technically minded.

Radiation Effects & Your Mobile Phone

1. We all hear about how the radiations emitted from our mobiles keep effecting us on the wrong side……but what are the specifications laid down for quantification of these effecting variables? What are these variables ?How much do they effect us? Do separate mobile handsets effect us in different ways? Are their any safe limits in these? What are the available standards?

2. The first and the most significant variable is the Specific absorption rate (SAR) , a measure of the rate at which energy is absorbed by the body when exposed to a radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic field. It is defined as the power absorbed per mass of tissue and has units of watts per kilogram. SAR is usually averaged either over the whole body, or over a small sample volume (typically 1 g or 10 g of tissue). The value cited is then the maximum level measured in the body part studied over the stated volume or mass.

3. SAR is used to measure exposure to fields between 100 kHz and 10 GHz. It is commonly used to measure power absorbed from mobile phones and during MRI scans. Few specifications of good and bad mobiles as found rated from TOI site at their INFOTECH tab are shown below with details :

SAMSUNG IMPRESSION : GOOD

Maximum radiation: 0.35 Watts per kilogram (W/kg) (based on reported radiation level when held up to your ear)

SAR when held at the ear: 0.35 W/kg

SAR when worn on the body: 0.83 W/kg

MOTOROLA RAZR V8 : GOOD

Maximum radiation: 0.36 W/kg

SAR when held at the ear: 0.36 W/kg

SAR when worn on the body: 0.86 W/kg

SAMSUNG SGH-T229 : GOOD

Maximum radiation: 0.38 W/kg

SAR when held at the ear: 0.38 W/kg

SAR when worn on the body: 0.69 W/kg

MOTOROLA MOTO VU204 : WORST

Maximum radiation: 1.55 W/kg

SAR when held at the ear: 1.55 W/kg

SAR when worn on the body: 0.58 W/kg

BLACKBERRY CURVE 8330 : WORST

Maximum radiation: 1.54 W/kg

SAR when held at the ear 1.54 W/kg

SAR when worn on the body 0.99 W/kg

4. United States: The FCC requires that phones sold have a SAR level at or below 1.6 watts per kilogram (W/kg) taken over a volume of 10 gram of tissue while European Union specify SAR limits within 2 Watts/kg taken over a volume of 10 gram

5. So next times some one asks you or even mentions about radiation effect of mobiles on health….just make the aspect more clear of weather of not his/her mobiles in meeting the S.A.R norms or not?

6. Thanks Wiki,Tech gadgets and TOI.

How to Increase the Phone's RAM Memory to boost up speed ?

How to increase 50% of ram of mobile.
Is your phone slow and have a short memory back up time which is considerably decreases day by day ? If yes then don’t worry because i have very simple handy solution to this problem.

Why Phone becomes slow and have less back up time ?

Normally there are lots of applications keep running in the background on the other hand also consuming about most of your RAM(random access memory) due to which your phone becomes slow consumes the phone memory so the memory back up time also decreases considerably.

Solution to the above situation is Memory Up

Some of the main features of Memory Up

It sets up a Smart management of Java virtual machine (JVM) which manually performs a quick boost for your phone. It also has warning RAM at your preset threshold

Memory Up runs in the background so makes an efficient use of the memory of your smartphone Performs a advanced boosting features (like prohibit kernel to disk swapping, auto-allocate critical threads, etc.)
