NetPad - Next-gen Notebook from Carbon Fiber

The NetPad notebook is currently in the development stage and we hope to see it soon in real life. The notebook was designed by taking into consideration direct feedback from a wide range of users.

NetPad's main screen features two info bar touchstrips, which means that you can instantly spot new emails, change songs and view images.

The notebook's keyboard is retractable, so you can hide it when you don't need it. One of the most impressive parts of this gadget is the HD screen.

In addition, the notebook has a media streamer which provides hi-fi sound when you connect it to a PC on windows 7 platform.

You can also transform the display into a stand when you want to watch your favorite movies. There is no need to worry when transporting the NetPad, since it is covered in carbon fiber.

Optoma Pico PK101 - Pocket Projector

Optoma Pico PK101 - Pocket-sized Projector 05

Optoma, one of the largest projector companies in the world, is proud to introduce the stunning Optoma Pico PK101 – a projector that’s so small it fits easily in your pocket! Imagine being able to show your friends and family videos from your media player or mobile phone at up to sixty inches in size. Ever wanted to show the photos on your digital camera or PDA whilst you’re out and about? Well, now it’s possible with this revolutionary new projector you can hold in your hand. No need to worry about connecting to the mains either; the Optoma Pico Pocket projector comes supplied with batteries to give you complete freedom on the move and what’s more it’s fully rechargeable, just like your mobile phone.

Two cautionary notes: The sound output is dinky, so you'll want to use it with headphones, which makes it less fun for the whole family, or an external speaker, which makes it bulky. (Or, see the FoxL Bluetooth Speaker, at No. 5 on this list). And the rechargeable battery lasts 1.5 hours. Luckily, it ships with two. Price: $399. Optoma Pico PK-101 – This has got to be the coolest gadget to date. It is a mini-projector. All you have to do is plug this small gizmo into your iPod and you have your own personal projector where crisp video images are projected on a wall.

Optoma Pico PK101 - Pocket-sized Projector 02
The latest LED technology, Optoma’s projector expertise and Texas Instruments tried and trusted DLP® chip technology, (used in millions of business and home cinema projectors the world over), come together to produce astonishing image quality from such a small projector. There’s no need to worry about replacing the lamp either - the Pico has a lamp-life of an astonishing twenty thousand hours: enough for more than eighteen years of life, even if you use the projector three hours a day, every single day of the year.

Watch the video here:

Pico could even project an image up to 6ft if it were in a very dark room - depending on the source. This tiny Optoma model may be the most expensive and unusual iPod accessory to date. Optoma's diminutive projector makes a great traveling companion, despite somewhat fuzzy image projection. But, once you’ve seen the Optoma Pico, you’ll agree that it sets the standard in pocket projectors.

Comply NR-10i earphones

Whenever you pick up an iPhone, you can more or less be sure that you’re getting a quality piece of portable media player as well. After all, it is basically an iPod touch with the added capability to communicate with the rest of your friends and family. Having said that, there is an extremely huge market where accessories for either device are concerned (alongside the rest of the iPod family, of course, but I digress). Even average Joes these days want something better than the stock earphones provided with the regular iPhone, which is where third party earphones come in. The Comply NR-10i earphones is just one of numerous third party earphones available, where we shall take a closer look at it right after the jump.

As we know, many countries these days already have laws in place that ban the use of cellphones while driving unless you’re on a Bluetooth headset or on other kinds of hands-free solution. As for the iPhone, the Comply NR-10i will propel the hands-free iPhone experience to the next level, as you know it just oozes with quality – don’t take our word for it, just check out their five-star rating on apple.com/uk for the evidence. Each pair will help reduce the amount of ambient noise coming in, and personal testimonies best convey the message as one consumer states, “I absolutely love these ear buds…They make my commute down Oxford Street enjoyable since I can actually hear my music or mobile conversations.”

Specially designed to cater to iPhone users, the Comply NR-10i earphones will rely on a similar patented Comply Foam Technology that is currently seeing action in U.S. Army helicopter crews in order to experience amazing noise reduction, superior comfort and secure in-ear fit, providing clear conversations and music experiences in noisy environments. After all, with more and more people picking up the iPhone all over the world, clearly (no pun intended) an audile solution for crystal-clear conversations is nigh, and the Comply NR-10i seems to deliver. Features include an integrated microphone/function switch on the cable, external music control capability and the ability to utilize the new 3GS Voice Control with the touch of a button. Expect to pick up a pair for £79.95 as it comes with one pair of slim-size Comply Foam Tips, one pair of standard-size Comply Foam Tips and a deluxe travel pouch.

Free Ipod, Iphone? ‘yeah right

well you might of heard of freebiejeebies or xpango or just you haven’t heard of them., well IF you have not heard of them i will explain it to you guys what they are don’t be shocked or say something like “yeh right this is a scam” read the whole post first before you judge anything.

So let me start with this phrase: “THESE SITES GIVE YOU FREE IPODS, IPHONE, MACBOOK, XBOX, NINTENDO WII, YOU NAME IT THEY HAVE IT” your shocked aren’t you? or well maybe saying “it is so a scam” well who wouldn’t i did it too and told myself it’s a scam and that nothing in this world is really free(which is true btw) well anyways lets get back with the topic while i was searching through forums on the internet their was this one post that got my attention it says “$ for completing an offer” and so i opened it and asked the author and gave me the instructions on how to do it he says he only need 1 more ref to get his FREE GIFT so i asked myself why is he/she willing to pay money for a site that looks like a scam right?, then i researched the site it was freebiejeebies and so i did the offer and did it completely and the author actually payed me, if you want to know what “offer” is then this is where i will explain to you what the sites mechanics are here it is “All you need to do to receive a gift is sign up, complete one offer yourself, and refer friends to do the same. We are paid commission for each offer completed by you and your referrals and we use this money to pay for the gifts.” an offer is which you have to sign up to a site that freebiejeebies has these offers are either FREE which you only need to complete a sign-up like for example the LoveFilm trial or Intuit or the ones you have to pay money to complete it ranging through 10$-25$(yah i know it says free right?) well duh it still is lemme explain more it is simply like this the Advertisers pay the site like freebiejeebies for the offers ok?, Now The Site Objective is to get members to join these offers so they offer incentive and rewards like this because they are earning way more than these game consoles and other products and since we are helping them bringing more members we get some rewards too, because the more members the more $$$ they get.

Let me give you an example if you do offers like paying 10$ Let’s say nintendo wii, it says 9 referrals so it must be 10 offers completed in total, right? so if you refer 9 people and they complete the 10$ offers, it will be 100$ spent So how can a nintendo wii cost 100$ when it’s like 240$ in stores? well i explained it earlier these sites like freebiejeebies earn commissions from these company’s if we join them(offer).

So their then i hope this explain alot i think i don’t need to post proofs do i? a proof can be easily plagiarized and if it were a scam then why are people still continuing to do this and has success and just to let you know i did receive free things on these site ^_^

Thanks and Regards for reading this!

Apple’s New Nano - World’s Smallest Camcorder

Every year at about this time, Apple hosts an auditorium full of reporters and reviewers in California to unveil the new holiday season’s iPod/iTunes line—and yesterday was it.

There were lots of refinements to the free iTunes software, to the iTunes store, to the iPhone’s 3.0 software (now 3.1), and to the iPods themselves.

So what was everyone’s reaction? I tell you, man, it’s all about your expectations.

Already, there’s been a lot of grumbling about what Apple didn’t deliver. According to the rumor blogs, there was supposed to be a new iPod Touch with a camera. The Beatles catalog was supposed to come to the iTunes store. There was supposed to be an Apple Tablet, basically a giant-sized iPod Touch.

None of it was there.

What Apple did unveil, though, was a new iPod Nano model, which has enough new features to last for—well, until *next* September.

It’s exactly the same size as the previous one: 3.6 x 1.5 x 0.2 inches. That is, it’s a wafer-thin, rounded-edged slab that comes in 9 metallic colors.

But it now has a microphone. And a speaker. And an FM radio. And a voice recorder. And a pedometer that counts how many steps you walk or run. And a camcorder.

It sounds like a lot to cram onto a (slightly larger) 2.2-inch screen. I’ve taken it for an 18-hour spin, and this is how it works.

iPod Touch

Watch Play & Listen.

Now everything’s in play with iPod touch.

Video.

Carry hours of video with you and watch it on a crisp, clear 3.5-inch color widescreen display. Need ideas? From Hollywood blockbusters to independent favorites, there’s something for everyone at the iTunes Store. Download and watch movies with a few clicks. Prefer TV shows? Buy a single episode or an entire season’s worth all at once.

Music.

Say you’re listening to a song you really like and want to hear other tracks that go great with it. The new Genius feature finds the songs in your library that go great together and makes a Genius Playlist for you. You can listen to the playlist right away, save it for later, or even refresh it and give it another go.

Games.

Developers all over the world are creating exciting games unlike anything you’ve ever seen on an iPod or mobile device. Many games come alive with stunning 3D graphics and immerse you in the action with the advanced technologies in iPod touch. There’s even a speaker built in, so you can hear all the action.
Many games for iPod touch use Multi-Touch to give you precise, fingertip control over game elements. Use your finger to drag your pieces around the board in chess or dice games. Or pinch to enlarge or shrink your view, rotate your character left or right, or just tap to make a selection.

iPod shuffle

This is small.

1.8" tall by 0.3" thin to be exact

iPod shuffle has 4GB of storage

.

To create the world’s smallest music player, we moved the controls from iPod shuffle to the earbud cord. This allowed us to make the new iPod shuffle dramatically smaller, but not just for dramatically smaller’s sake. It’s also easier to use, with the controls located where you can access them quickly.
You have plenty of room to store hours and hours of music — up to 1,000 songs.
* With room for multiple playlists, too

iPod Classic

A musical Genius.

iPod classic gives you 120GB of storage.

And you get up to 36 hours of battery life.

Say you’re listening to a song you really like and want to hear other tracks that go great with it. With a few clicks, the new Genius feature finds the songs in your library that go great together and makes a Genius playlist for you. You can listen to the playlist right away, save it for later, or even refresh it and give it another go. Count on Genius to create a mix you wouldn’t have thought of yourself.

Good for up to 30,000 songs, 150 hours of video, 25,000 photos, or any combination.
Finding exactly what you want to watch or listen to is easy.

iPod Nano

Rock and roll over.

320-by-240-resolution display.

2-inch wide screen display.

Now you can get in on games made especially for iPod nano and the accelerometer. They respond to the way you move, so they’re immersive, addictive, and a blast. iPod nano comes with Maze, which lets you work your way through vast mazes by tilting and moving. You can find even more games on the iTunes Store.

Worst iPod Gadgets

Just like last Christmas, crap iPod related gadgets, clothing and other accessories are everywhere! Many of you are probably getting and giving iPod-related Christmas presents this year. With this in mind, here’s a list of iPod gadgets and accessories you may want to avoid. If you happen to get any of these gadgets under your Xmas tree, you have our deepest sympathy.

iPod Toilet Paper Dispenser
The iCarta toilet paper dispenser/iPod player.
Am I the only want thinking that the last thing I want anyone doing in the bathroom is making a #$#@ playlist for using the toilet.

iPod Jeans
Equally annoying to receive would be Levi’s iPod jeans. These are like regular jeans, except that they feature built-in iPod support.

Not too bad of an idea, but don’t even think about giving these as Christmas presents! Instead of thinking that Levi’s iPod jeans are cool, the recipient will be angry that you spent $250…..and bought them a pair of #$%@ iPod jeans.

iPod Chairs
Another holiday no-no are the iPod chairs available at Pottery Barn and other stores.
The iChair rocks your rear, but it’s also a massive, expensive accessory for a music gadget that will be out of date in a couple of years.

The iDisguise
Another iPod accessory to avoid at Christmas is the fake Altoids iPod case: ipod case idisguise.
Sure - the case is kind of cool. But, give somebody a case like this and they will think that you not only made this in your basement on Christmas eve, but that you’re so cheap that you don’t even buy real Altoids.

iBoxers
iBoxerJust like the iPod bra and panties are probably no-no’s as Christmas gifts, the iBoxer should be off limits at the holidays.

The Play iBoxer is a cotton/spandex blend button fly boxer, with a discreet front pocket for holding an iPod, other mp3 players or your cell phone. As the manufacturer says, “Answering the call may take on a new meaning.”

Ladies - some guys may revel in the idea of frolicking under the Christmas tree in their underwear. Keep in mind, though, that that’s only the start of the day.

Do you really want your guy spending the rest of Christmas walking around playing air guitar with a noticeable crotch-bulge?

iLoad iPod Loader

iLoad with PuppyThe iLoad, a device that copies CDs to an iPod at high speed without using a computer or requiring an Internet connection, seemed like an interesting device at first. According to the company’s advertisements, it not only helps you load your iPod, it can help you get lucky.

But then we realized that anybody that has an iPod already uses their computer to load it with music……

iPod Breathalyzer

We have already featured this gadget on this site but thought it was worth the mention again.
The iBreath iPod breathalyzer is one of the most potentially dangerous iPod Christmas presents you could buy:

  • First of all, nothing says “I think you’re a lush” like buying someone an iPod Breathalyzer.
  • Second of all, the thing only goes up to .12 % blood alcohol levels, so the recipient will think that you think they are a lightweight.
  • Third, drinking one’s way through all 2hr 31min of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest could easily push the device to its limits!

iPod Vibrator for Two

Our vote for the World’s Worst iPod-Related Christmas Gift goes to the iBuzz Two, an iPod vibrator that sports two vibrating attachments.

It’s hard to imagine when it would be appropriate to give someone a vibrator for two that sports a vibrating bunny attachment, but we’re pretty sure Christmas isn’t the time.

As a Christmas gift, the iBuzz has multiple strikes against it:
  • First, the pink “rabbit stimulator” just ain’t right.
  • Second, if the pictures end up on Flickr, it will make the iPod panty pictures look pretty tame by comparison.
  • Third, if you can wear ear buds during sex, you’re probably not doing it right.
There are our picks for ten iPod accessories to avoid at Christmas. If we missed something, let us know in the comments!
